She attended the University of LaVerne where she received her Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude withdepartmental honors. She went on to attend Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Southern California, where she was awarded her Doctorate.
Following in her fathers' footsteps, she decided to pursue the study of ophthalmology. Dr. Schneider-Johnson completed her medical internship in the heart of New York City and went on to complete her ophthalmology training at Ascension Health in Detroit Michigan. During her residency, she was elected chief resident for her outstanding performance throughout her post graduate years. She was recognized for her academic excellence for achieving consistent performance within the top 5% of all residents to have trained at herinstitution.
